There’s over 100 large trees on the land, ranging from live oaks to cedar elms, and no trees will be cut down- we’re building around them, leaving the landscape the way mother nature intended.

Built in 1920 by the Scott family, this unique home features long leaf pine walls and shiplap throughout the interior.

Built in the late 1920’s by E.H. Carrington, a freed slave who in 1872 became the first African-American to sign a deed in Austin.

William Ashbury Shannonhouse was born in 1852 in North Carolina. A carpenter by trade, Shannonhouse settled in Austin and in 1885 he built 1800 E 13th St., which became his homestead. Tons of original features, and the plank floors are repurposed sheathing from the walls of the house.
